Accessibility

Mobility Bus

For participants with mobility challenges, a bus equipped with a lift for wheelchairs will be available. It is able to hold four wheelchairs and 10 passengers. The bus will follow the march procession behind a police escort.

The location of the mobility bus will be on Vittoria Street. Contact us to reserve a space on the bus.

ASL Translation

We are currently looking for a volunteer ASL translator and are following leads. Anyone able to volunteer or suggest a volunteer would be greatly appreciated.

Scent-free Event

In order to accommodate sensitivities, we are asking people to refrain from using heavily scented products or perfumes at the event

Secondary Meet-up Points

If you'd prefer not to march the entire length of the route, you can join the procession at any point along the way. In addition, the following spaces have been made available to us to use as secondary meetup points, where marchers can take shelter from the weather and wait for the march to approach.

CUPW National Office
377 Bank Street (corner Lewis). Doors open at 11:00 a.m. at this fully accessible location.

St. Giles Presbyterian Church
729 Bank Street (corner First). This site is not wheelchair accessible.

Women's March Ottawa is only possible with the support of our community.
